Beach time is family time, even for private celeb couples like Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.

The A-list duo, who celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last month, are notorious for keeping their relationship away from the public eye and are rarely spotted together, often leading to nagging rumors that they're headed for a split. But looking at photos from their family vacation to Hawaii over New Year's, those rumors clearly couldn't be further from the truth.

Gwyneth, 41, looking stunning in a teeny pink patterned bikini, seems engrossed in a deep conversation with her Coldplay frontman husband, 36, who didn't look so bad himself in black swim trunks.

In addition to their killer bods and stylish swimwear, Gwyneth and Chris each had one other thing on display: their tattoos in honor of one another. The Oscar winner has a "C" on her hip, while the crooner has a "G" on his arm.

The pair was joined on the beach by their two kids, Apple, 9, and Moses, 7.

The last time Paltrow and Martin were photographed together was in July 2013 when they were seen with the kids at an airport in Mallorca.

Paltrow explained their choice of privacy in 2009 to Elle U.K.: "It doesn't behoove us to be a public couple," she said. "He certainly doesn't want that. We've never ever walked down a red carpet together, we never will."

"It's hard being married," she confessed to Glamour U.K. in May 2013. "You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We're the same as any couple."

That said, Gwyneth was asked shortly thereafter by Good Housekeeping to name the "best decision" she's ever made … and she answered, "to marry my husband."

From the looks of it, she still feels that way.
