Joe Flacco visszatért az AFC Northba! Az ESPN információi szerint ugyanis a pénteki próbajáték utána a Browns ma hivatalosan leigazolja a mára már 38 éves irányítót – egyelőre a gyakorlócsapatba, de értelemszerűen onnan bármikor felhozhatják majd, és a várakozások szerint ez meg is fog történni.
A Brownsban kezdett már idén Deshaun Watson sérülése miatt PJ Walker és az újonc Dorian Thompson-Robinson is. Most vasárnap utóbbi játszott a Steelers ellen, 43 passzából 23 volt sikeres 165 yardért és egy INT-ért, de meccsnyerő mezőnygólig vezette a végén a támadókat. Különösen rossz ugyan nem volt, de volt egy interceptionje és egy elejtett interceptionje is, illetve szinte minden passza 5 yardon belüli volt, tehát nagyon keveset kértek tőle.
A csapatnak van egy elit védelme, emellé az irányítótól csak azt fogják kérni, hogy ne rontsa el a dolgokat, a futójátékkal és könnyű gyors passzokkal igyekeznek majd haladni – azonban ahogy a Steelers ellen is láttuk, ha nem tudják megnyitni a pályát, akkor a védelem is fel tud lépni ezekre a rövid játékokra. Kérdés, mi van még jelenleg Flaccóban, de talán a karjától jobban félhetnek az ellenfelek, a rövid játékokat pedig talán ő is meg tudja oldani – ellenben megiramodásokkal nem lesz veszélyes, ahogy DTR vagy Walker volt.
Az még egyelőre nem derült ki, hogy a korábbi első körös, majd Super Bowl MVP irányítót kezdőnek szánják-e vagy csak tartaléknak.
A Browns jövő héten egyébként a zsinórban négy meccset megnyerő Broncos ellen lép pályára.

I wish you plenty of rejoicing today. Wishing you a Sunday morning filled with peace and joy. It's okay to feel down sometimes. It is okay to cry out loud from laughter as well. Life can't be only black or white – that is why it is valuable. Sometimes you just have to give yourself a break. This should be today. Life is a rollercoaster, which consists of ebbs and flows. Thank Lord for the peaks and trust Him during valleys. Take a day to look around and think about all the things you have. Life is a fantastic adventure, even when you think you ran out of gas.
