Dorian Thompson-Robinson remains the Browns' starting quarterback The Browns signed Joe Flacco, but according to head coach Kevin Stefanski, the veteran running back will only play a supporting role, with rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson still the team's starter. He did not talk about whether Flacco will get the replacement position or whether he will remain only the number three option for the time being. Fifth-round pick Dorian Thompson-Robinson wasn't terrible against the Steelers, at least not as much as he was against the Ravens in the fourth round, when he had five turnovers and three turnovers. Now he managed the meeting quite well, he only had one really bad pass, and he was able to add to the offensive line on his feet, although the fact is that his added value was still very little (he finished the game with 55.8 percent accuracy and 165 yards, with an average of just 3.8 yards per pass attempt). In the passing game, Flacco could probably offer more even now, but the Browns would be less unpredictable on the ground, so Stefanski's decision is understandable for now. However, more is needed from the rookie if Cleveland wants to fight for more serious goals.
