Down chimneys he slips, as quiet as can be,
leaving gifts under the shimmering tree.
No home too remote, no child overlooked,
in Santa’s grand book, all names are booked.
His task not easy, his journey long,
yet he carries on, his spirit strong.
For in each gift, a message he sends,
of love, hope and joy that never ends.
To Santa, we owe our Christmas glee,
a magical figure for you and me.
